Custom Design FAQs

How much are custom designs?

Prices for custom designed millinery start at $270.00 inc postage and GST. 

The final price is dependant on the complexity and materials in each design, and if we need to source specific colours. 

You will be provided with a written quote before you proceed. 

 

What is the lead time for custom designs?

It depends on the time of year. Four - six weeks is reasonable outside of peak Spring Carnival season. 

When you submit your Wishlist, please let us know the date of the event you need the item for.

Do I need to have my outfit finalised before I book?

Yes, before submitting your Wishlist please have your dress confirmed. We do not take advance bookings.

If you're still working out what you want to wear, please remember you can shop from our extensive Ready to Wear collection which are ready to ship. 

Where are you located?

We are based in beautiful Cairns, in Queensland Australia. 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, our designs have been sent worldwide for many years. If prices do not display for your region during checkout, please get in touch via email. 

Are custom designs one-offs?

They can be, however we reserve the right to re-create any of our designs.  

How much will shipping cost?

Please let us know your location when you complete your Wishlist. The shipping price will be included in your quote before you pay the 25% non-refundable deposit. 

Can I request changes to the final design?

It's important that you trust our creative judgement and sense of style before committing to a custom design. We're happy to accomodate minor modifications to the final design where possible. An additional fee may be charged.

Rest assured, if you're not 100% happy with the final design we create for you, you're not obligated to pay the balance. Just remember the 25% deposit is non-refundable. 

 

Can I cancel the custom order if my plans change?

Yes, you can cancel the order, however the 25% deposit is non-refundable.
